Thanks Chris for all your effort. I will be buying your robot next year when I retire. I am so looking forward to building the AR4.

This looks great. Things have come a long way since we built our AR3 in 2021. We definitely need to update to the AR4. Thanks for all the detailed work Chris!

Would love to see some sort of 6 axis mini robot controller to be used to train this for certain ML tasks.

Hello Chris Annin, I have watched all the robot-related videos on your channel, but I haven't been able to build one yet. The stepper motors and metal parts are quite expensive. I hope you can create a similar robot model in a smaller size using NEMA 17 stepper motors, an Arduino Mega, and 3D-printable parts.

Hola, el brazo robotico puede además guardar movimientos que se le realicen fisicamente?. Gracias.

Maybe this is an obvious question, but is the newest release of the software and the Modbus board install compatible with the AR3 as well? Thanks for all your work on this project Chris!

Great work Chris, thanks! Did you ever had someone converting an older Fanuc robot to your software and controller?. I managed to get an LR-200 which is mechanically still good but all the electronics are shot. Thinking about starting a conversion. :)

Nice. how much do the motors cost? have you considered RC brushless motors with encoders as a cheap fast strong good solution?

Hi there, I was truly inspired by you! I'm amazed by your AR4 robot and want to build one myself, but I couldn’t find a 50:1 ratio gearbox for J2. I managed to get a 15:1 ratio instead—would that still work? I'd really appreciate your guidance!

Have you thought about adding a visual ai agent that then re-programs new moves ?
