During the pandemic, I used a hybrid model for my first year C programming course (CSC 111). These pre-recorded videos were accompanied by code examples, notes and live lectures. CSC 111 is an introductory (CS1) course in C programming normally taken by all first-year engineering students at the University of Victoria.

These videos were made just like in-person lectures: in one sitting, with no breaks, no script, no editing and no expectation of ever being used again. They definitely were not intended to withstand the test of time, but just in case, here they are.

All of the slides and exercises are original content. If you find any of this helpful or interesting, please let me know (I really appreciate any other feedback as well).

Note: At the beginning of the video I describe how and when new concepts will be introduced in the course. Looking back on the video now, I think that commentary is (unintentionally) the most genuine statement of my teaching philosophy that I've ever put on record (much more concise than my teaching dossier or CV).
