I measure things by how long it takes me to earn that. The book Your Money or Your Life really helped me see how time is a nonrenewable resource. So what do I want to spend my time doing? Working till 80 because I had to have a new car or bigger house? Or sitting on a beach at 55 with no debt? Hand me the Pina colada lol

Good evening Jennifer, thank you for the video, these are great tips! I love to know that I’m not the only person who’s not interested in buying the most expensive car or purse, or whatever!😊💖

I follow many of the tips you talked about. Having the auto savings really helps us save for retirement. I also put savings as the first budget item. Started that last year. My sinking funds go to a different bank across town. Great advice.

We are living in a entitled world. Saving for some thing before you buy it barely exists. I'll buy now pay later is the majority. Setting goals having self disapline being content grateful for having what you need verses what you want always will help you save to get out of Debt to live a better quality life. Another great video.

I just love your suggestions. You always seem to provide a carrot as reward and that is so efficient! Thanks for the great job!

I definitely stock up when items are on sale. Especially coffee (for the house). Amazon just had a 6 pack of cafe LA llave bricks for $12😀

Happy new year, Jennifer! An extra step we use in our household to add to your tip of calculating how many hours of work to pay for something is we use a compounding interest calculator to see how much that item would cost if that money was invested for “x” number of years at 8%ish...we may be a bit nerdier than usual though hah! It is mostly useful with bigger ticket items. Thanks for another quality video :)

These are some great ideas. I have already decided to make savings at the top of them list and I’m doing a no spend January. Thanks Jennifer! 😊

After listening to you, I think it was you that I took the suggestion to open an account in a different bank, harder for me to get to and it's made a huge difference in the amount I save! Thanks.👍😊

Great motivating ideas! We don’t get raises where I work but the side hustle can help offset it

I have bpd and bought way too many toiletries during 2020 and 2021 so in 2022 im definitely not buying more until I run out completely. Every penny I have after bills is going towards paying off my credit card. Im also saving £250 per month into fixed savings that I can’t get out so im looking at it like im saving what I would’ve spent on unnecessary items.

there is a conflict between buy sth in discount vs. store (occupy more space and cluttered). how to solve that? especially I live in a small space
