Unloading my tractor from the trailer on a hill was one of the most uneasy feelings I've had on my machine, when you get to the point your truck lift's off the ground and rolling backwards, it's a bad feeling. Thanks for bringing that one up. Really enjoy the videos.👍

Mistakes make us were left up one time when I was mowing my son's lawn. The ROPS cut a low hanging branch and lifted the front wheels right off the groun (with bucket attached)....jerked me good and I learned. Thanks for mentioning the little hits on the garage. Now she can see it is not just me. Stay safe.

Just backed in the garage and forgot the loader was all the way up, which bent the door as I entered the garage, so now I have to replace the door, very costly mistake, I was kicking myself for this one. Good video, thanks for sharing 👍🏽👍🏽

Discovered yesterday where it may be okay to park your tractor without setting the brakes, but only lowering your box blade in one certain spot, doesn't work in that same spot with a tiller. Those tines roll! 😥. Great video...👌

Good Stuff Courtney - Talk about dumb - I tried to move my 1025r forgetting that the right backhoe stabilizer was still down. I had jumped off the backhoe, lifted the left stabilizer, moved some tools out of the way where I was headed - Then jumped back on the tractor from the left side as I always do, while forgetting that the right stabilizer was still down. For a quick moment I wondered why the tractor wouldn't move and was making some serious grunting noises - DUH... You make a great point about buying the right size tractor the first time - I love my 1025r with the 260b backhoe. It has truly been a "Back Saver" as you can see in my YouTube videos. But I really wish I had gotten the 2032r with the backhoe and spent the few extra dollars. But the "Good News for Good Works Tractor" is that you and I will be negotiating that trade someday when I come up with some extra "Dinero" - This was a fun video, Buddy - Thanks for sharing your funny stories...

One of the best suggestions a John Deere dealer told me was buy an air compressor and blow off my mower ever Time I put it away. My zero turn has lasted 20 years. Don’t wash blow it off. Now I use that process on my tractor. I blow off everything including the grill. Great suggestion.

So many great tips here Courtney. I can relate to the first one while using the RC 2060 Rotary Cutter. Front grill was filled with weed seeds and luckily I noticed before the coolant temperature got up to 3/4 of the way to the Red Zone. I check it now several times while using the Rotary Cutter and even more when it’s a warm day.

I recently Bush hogged about 150 yards with the parking brake engaged on my new JD 4066R despite the prominently displayed red “P” on the dashboard. Thank you for your posts, I find them quite helpful as new tractor owner.

Also after cleaning the front screen. I have 150 hours on my 3025e and I found the radiator was full of dirt and dust as well. Washed it off with the water hose and looks like new again. So don’t forget to check in there as well. 👍

ROPS vs. garage door header is a right of passage!

I was mowing a side hill that I'd mowed many times before with no issues but that year it was unusually wet. There's nothing more sobering than when you loose traction and start sliding sideways down a hill.

Another good video, Courtney! Thanks! I’ve made some of yours and done the “property damage” more than once! I think my biggest mistake was not anticipating the need for 3-point quick hitch and rear attachments. Got the ballast box when I bought the tractor. Later found out it was not quick hitch compatible. Didn’t anticipate the need for a box blade. Picked up one very reasonably priced. Oops! Not compatible. Now I have a chipper as well. It’s quick hitch compatible but I’m stuck with the other items. Live and learn.

Yes. I've done 1. 2-twice. 3 multiple times, never tipped though. 4 I live in the North so we have treated diesel, so I've never had a problem with gelling. 5, I've loaded onto a trailer hitched onto a Chevy Cruze, pick the entire rear wheels off the ground. LOL, but hey the sedan it pulled it once I got it balanced on the trailer. 6 -Never ripped a tire off.... Yet. 7 and 8 Haven't gotten stuck or had an issue getting around in the snow... Yet. 9, I have a 1025R great machine, but I wish I would have gotten larger, but I can't say not having larger has really costed me money. 10, I've only ever run out of fuel once, I try not to run out of fuel in anything tractors, or vehicles. Running out of fuel consistently make a fuel pump go bad quicker.

i've done some wild stuff for fuel gel and transport in extreme cold temps. about 32*F start tractor about 1x/month and let run for about 15 minutes or so. colder the temps the more frequent to start and run tractor. keeps fuel from turning into gel and easier to start come spring time. i've moved tractors from point to point while they were idling/running. if turned off the tractor could freeze or gel. good thing you back off the trailer if you drove on the trailer you could jack the truck/trailer causing damage. done a lot of that in the army. awesome video. sound seems better than most other times. :)

I have a 2018 JD 3025E. It has the fuel tank behind the driver seat. I was filling it with diesel when I got a call from my wife. I answered on my Bluetooth headset and talked for a while. Totally distracted. I forgot about putting the cap on the fuel tank. I already had the tractor strapped down in the trailer because I would be going 14 miles away in the morning to do some work. A thunderstorm came through over night. I noticed the cap was off when I got to where I was going. I had to go to a parts place to get some water remover, drain the tank totally, put in the water remover then refill with good diesel. No, I did not try to start it with the water in the tank.

I also unloaded on a hill and took a wild ride backwards sitting on the tractor until I reached a tree. Luckily I had the box blade on the back and that is what saved me from being hurt. Destroyed my 3320. It was totaled. Now have a 3033R and I do not unload on hills!!

Hit the side of my outbuilding door with the bucket backing in and decided to leave the smashed moulding there these 4 years as a painful reminder to slow down, think first before doing something. Works for my sons too.
