During an Earth Day visit to Goddard Space Flight Center, NASA Deputy Administrator Lori Garver toured the Landsat Data Continuity Mission control room and was briefed on Goddard Earth science programs. NASA also celebrated Earth Day with a range of activities for travelers and visitors at DC's Union Station -- to help them better understand the agency's mission to sustain the planet's systems and climate. If there astronauts on board they will get there as quick as possible, this uses more fuel though, so if it's just cargo and time is not an issue it's cheaper to take the long 'route'.

NASA is good but how come you are inventing aircraft with the same design used 100 years ago. You should use something that isn't based on birds that fly very slow.

Why does it take a rocket two days to reach the ISS? Didn't they need only six hours for this procedure a couple of weeks ago?
