I still don't understand the consensus of a FED rate cut in September. This seems to be mostly based on a single data point, which everyone seems to agree was "misleading". The fact is US inflation is still above 2% and employment data still isn't that bad, it's bad, but not FED decision changing bad. The facts remain that the FED ALWAYS cuts late and they rarely cut before a US election, and when they have, it's been done during a clear recession.
