This video is an overview and demonstration of the Vizatek Logic IC Tester from RSR Electronics (Electronix Express).

UPDATE October 4, 2017: Seller RSR Electronics preferred to not exchange this unit (because of its scratched display), with their tech support telling me, "The scratched/scuffed display that you are concerned about seems consistent with other units in our stock including some units I use in our electronic lab". This sucks!

The technician at RSR advised that the frequency counter specification is:
- 1MHz maximum
- Input signal should be TTL level (0-5V), positive only (not intended for other types of signals)

I also noted, after I edited this video, that my HP signal generator did not keep a constant voltage as the frequency approached 1MHz, and the signal voltage sagged somewhat. This may have contributed to the loss in accuracy of the device as the frequency got up into the range.

I looked these chips up myself and the 74367 appears to be functionally identical to the 4503. One control pin controls four buffers and the other one controls the other two. The data sheet for the 74367 that I have has data for the 74365, 74366, 74367, and 74368. The 74365 and 74366 AND the control pins together while the 74367 and 74368 do not.
