750MC Hot Hatch 2018 Cadwell Park Race 1

So, sometimes as good as a race goes, it can be a little deflating.
I mean, in terms of the championship, a race like this is ideal!
But in terms of self satisfaction, apart from the solace one gets from ticking every possible box performance wise, its just not that exciting.
Racing nose to tail is always, ultimately, more 'fun' no matter what the result actually is, and its certainly more enjoyable for you guys to watch.
So, there is a dichotomy of protecting your position and clearing off into the distance, vs doing the proverbial tango with another driver you respect and beating them.
I always aim to be honest and not hide my position in the worry I'll upset or annoy other drivers or competitors, ultimately I'm not there for them. But I sure as hell enjoy the fight on track with them, its the only way to get better, go up against someone better.

Great forward camera position, btw. I can't remember ever being able to see the steering wheel action, shifting, pedal box action, AND still be able to see the track through the windshield, all in one camera shot. Brilliant.

They are well put together, these rover 200s, sound quality is excellent and loving the jumbo calories box, for a mid race snack! No drinks dispencer though! Chiller in the boot, coke on tap, thatll be good 🙌🎆😂
