The metal/progressive metal community has been talking about hiatus kaiyote since they came out lol the polyrhythms, sick tempo changes always stood out to us because it's something that we love in our music. Now hearing them turn up the gain is like a dream come true

This song is like a video game boss battle where Nai Palm is the boss. Her little coyote howls with the chiptune instrumental under it is absolutely slaying me. Hardcore awesome stuff. 🐺

This song is so raw and powerful that it awakened something primal inside me. Pairing Nai's angelic vocals with an angry rock instrumental is such an inspired way to experiment with genre. The absolute VERVE in how that isolated guitar melody follows her vocals is on par with By Fire. You guys just keep increasingly blowing my mind.
