The best country i ever drove in for using the zipper effect was Germany. It was a dream to drive over there. They stuck to the rules and in the 5 years i was there i never saw road rage. Only 2 lanes on the autobahn and even when there was a smash the emergency vehicles managed to get through because everyone just moved over to left or right and left a big gap in the middle. Happy stress free days

Not one to normally stick up for the bikers but anyone who is smart can clearly see that there is no bike lane in the video with the yellow bike and van. And if he was to ride in that little area inbetween the white road marker line and the gutter, he would of a higher chance of cars clipping him as the width is not the same as a legal bicycle lane. And since he is and adult not a child he cannot legally ride footpaths.

Some people think zippering means passing 100 cars... if your zipper skips a bunchnof teeth instead id takinf the first opening, you likely got your balls caught in it
