Do not, interfere with the buds school, do not lower the standards, ever

We have enough of that in other parts of the military, and it will hurt the national security,

After 25 years in Special Forces, who NEVER EVER TOOK ANY ENHANCEMENT DRUGS AND NO DRUGS AT ALL, EVER, the simple thing is that SOF training is hard, we ALWAYS lose people in training. ALWAYS, Not just in basic training, but thru out ALL TRAINING during your whole SOF career! THIS IS NOT A COMMAND ISSUE, THIS IS A IGNORANCE ON THE PART OF THE LAW MAKERS AND THE NAVY WHO ARE PUSHING FOR THIS COMMANDER TO BE A "SCAPEGOAT" FOR THEM. I SALUTE THE COMMANDER. I SALUTE THE REPRESENTATIVES WHO ARE FIGHTING TO RESTORE HIS HONOR.

Why does everyone want everything "dumbed down" because some can't hack it. This is what is making America full of slackers. Thebest of the best must be tougher than the rest.

The commander explains himself and the situation very clearly, with attorneys present on the Shawn Ryan Show. If anyone wants to hear his side, watching that interview is a great place to start.

Morale of the story is if you feel you need to take performance enhancing drugs, you aren’t US Navy Seal material.

SEAL training and selection is supposed to be extremely tough. Take risks in training with support and medical assistance available, so that people sent into hostile territory are able endure great harshness

If drug use is a repeating problem, why is regular drug testing not administered?

Everbody keep West North Carolina in your hearts and minds. Many are without jobs and homes and living in tents. I have donated to boots on ground organizations that people are seeing make a difference such as:

- Cajun Navy
- Hurricane Helene Airlift Relief

(Removed Samaritan’s purse because I hear they keep a little too much funds for themselves)

- Everyone that knows credible organizations to donate to, please post.

- Post Go Fund Me that go directly to families in need

The people need to stay warm because winter is coming. They will need more generators, fuel, coats, boots and warm clothes. Organizations that provide shelter will also need funds.

Prayers from Michigan. God Bless America 🇺🇸🙏🏽🪷

Correct me if I'm wrong, but choosing to attend BUDS is just that--a choice.
My limited knowledge is that quite a few don't make it and a few have died trying.
Why is the Navy trying to blame the Commander?

DEI Sailor did not have the real qualification to serve in the Navy Seal.

Wait, what .. a trainee croaks; and they blame the commander; foray, everyone who sent soldiers out on mission without enough class 1 or class 5 did; during OCH in 1993.

Or those who put someone pulling down the team in a wall locker and dumped it down the stairs, oh; okay.

A commander is too far removed to even be effective; they spend too much time pushing paper & eating powdered donuts.

Only the platoon leader, squad or team leader know where the rubber meets the road.

Yes, a commander is ultimately responsible for what their people do; or fail to do ..

.. someone has it in for him; normally; at best they would put a letter in his jacket, and slow down or derail their next promotion.

Not take away all the blood sweat & tears of an entire career.

Something more going on here.

Is anyone shocked by this? It doesn’t make it any less sad and I doubt they’ll let the commander retire in peace. In fact, probably will be the opposite unfortunately.

class 234!! come on this investigation is full of holes. let the good captain retire with all his awards/
the recruit holds most of the responsibility by using PEDS.

Why would you want someone you are depending on to have your back in a real life situation to be on drugs? 🇺🇲
