In one of the weirder injuries in Giants history, Madison Bumgarner will be out for an indefinite amount of time after he fell off a dirt bike he rented on an off day in Denver, Colorado.
Bumgarner met with reporters for the first time since the crash Monday afternoon before the Giants faced the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers. Bumgarner sat in the dugout with his left arm in a sling.
"I really wasn't going that fast," said Bumgarner. "I honestly don't know...I'm not exactly sure what happened. It was a surprise to me too."
