I've had a 2022 & 2023 C8. One minute behind the wheel of a Z06, and they disappeared from the garage. Ask Ron Fellows to drive his Z06/Z07 on the "Ring." He could easily go sub 7 in MANUAL using gears 1-4. Top speed in 4th is 162mph. Perfect for the straight. If not shift into 5th.

I’ve heard some criticism about the people that test drove it. They did it in full automatic, didn’t make the best turns and didn’t have the best brake patterns.

Well really other than sales, I don’t think it matters.( and Chevrolet can sell plenty of z06s ) In fact, if anyone is so distraught that their Z06 can’t do a sub 7 second lap on the ring, I will be glad to accept your car as a donation to my collection. 😂😂😂

A disaster for sure. Not surprised, since the car has been out for 3 years and GM has not published an official lap time, and apparently GM themselves got a 7:10 at the ring too.

I was at Ron fellows in October.Z06 was driven manually on their track and on the straightaway we never got out of fourth gear and I know we would hit 130 mph so I am curious at what speed are they shifting into fifth gear? What is the top speed at the Nuremberg Ring on the longest straightaway?

Well people. I was the one saying the C8 Z06 doesn't perform that much better than the C8 Stingray. From my understanding the base C8 Stingray has a higher top end.

After the Nurburgring time of C8Z, GM needs to start pricing the C8Z with Z07 package for $50K OUT THE DOOR!!!!

I’m no longer a buyer. There are too many other options around that time that aren’t as expensive to operate on the track and easier to maintain. It’s not exclusive.
