This screencast shows you the very basics of creating a project and applying a type safe stylesheet with TornadoFX - the lightweight JavaFX framework for Kotlin.

Please note that the syntax has been updated after this video was made:

You can also now skip the s() around each selector, so you can write label { backgroundColor += Color.BLUE }.

Nice video, just a quick tip: please find a way to mic yourself that doesn't include the percussive keyboard being as loud or louder than your voice. Starts to wear on you after the first minute especially when you excitedly smash a key and my volume is turned up.

Making demo videos in dark theme is a bad idea. And make things slowly. Use mouse not hotkeys. Give people time to see what you actually typed. And all this after watching first 15 seconds.
