When he performed this at Windsor Village, I was there.. Had just come home from incarceration the day before and went to church.. When this song started, something touched me.. By the time the choir started, I was in tears.. Then when BCW said "Don't give up, just hold on.." My soul had been touched. I NEVER cry, but that day I was driven to tears of joy and I thank God for giving this man the power of song. This song has become a theme song for me and I haven't been in trouble since.

Eastern hills sang this back in 2004 at Gospel fest.. they absolutely tore the house down. They had two male vocalists and the choir was really really really good too. One of the best vocals I've ever heard. I remember this was one of my favorites on the album "Welcome to the Village" my choir teacher played this album a lot because we were trying to learn "Deliverance" from this same album and our set list included "I have a right to praise him" and we used to rock the house with that. What a time!
