Seriously, thank you for this. Thank you for putting yourself out there to help us feel more confident before we get to the park! I have found Disney World to be incredibly fat friendly but new/unusual ride vehicles always make me a little nervous. This really helps.

I just went to Disneyworld for the first time ever last week. I’m 6’0 and 340 and I did exactly what you said and fit no problem. Fit on every ride even Tron. Thank you!

Here is a tip from my experience! I was extremely nervous about fitting (because of my massive calves...I didn't fit on the motorcycle seats for the Tron ride in Shanghai) so I had wrapped my mind around the fact that I may not ride, and I was ok with that. I waited in the queue with my friends, and that was worth it in itself, very detailed. I am 5'10" tall and weigh 300 lbs (with a lot of muscle). I am very proportionate and therefore I don't have a large belly, everything is equal. My right calf (the large of the two) measures at 22 inches. I didn't try the test seat since it is supposed to be a bit smaller anyway. I followed the advice and pushed myself all the way into the seat and waited until the cast member was going to initiate the restraints and I got on my tippy toes (even at 5'10" I was able to go on my tip toes). This allowed the ride to lock into place without the cast member even needing to push on the back!! I was ecstatic! I had a decent amount of room around my belly to move around, the legs were tight but not painful. I was just so excited for the win of being able to ride this, and without any extra assistance. I honestly probably could have not gone on my tip toes, but that is a great tip if you are worried about fitting. It is a great ride and I hope you can make it on!

Just tried to ride this ride as a male 6”5 300, j was able to fit belly wise but there was surprisingly very little room for my legs and was unable to get them in all the way, so for all the taller guys be careful, try the seat before and don’t wait hours. They do offer recovery for the following day which is nice

Thank you so much. I paid a huge amount of money to take my friends and family to Disney in early February (a week from now!) and I was worried about this ride. I’m 5’8” and about 290lbs. You have a very similar body type to mine so this really helps. I’ll suck in the gut on the fitting and my calves aren’t big so I should be good to go! You rock.

I went last Spring using and I am 5'9 380 and I did not fit because of the leg restraints. I will say it was very close but the ride operators were very nice so don't be afraid to try. They even helped push on the restraint to double check. After that the ride attendant (again very nice) gave me and my friends 2 fast passes to ride any rides we wanted. I proceeded to ride Expedition Everest and lots of fun was had lol Again, don't be scared, the cue was still worth it! I'm working on my health and hope to try again soon. :)

One of you videos showed up on my feed and After watching a couple of your videos... you gained a new Sub! :)

Could you do a Fat Mans Guide to all of the roller coasters/rides in Sea world and Busch Gardens? I can’t find any of those types of videos on YouTube. Would love to see the test seats, like you did on Hagrid’s.

Adrian,
Another awesome video man. Great information. Feel good that you are helping so many people who may be to scared to try and ride this attraction. I'm jealous that I myself am unable to ride. I can get the back support in the green but not the calves. I'm also 6'3". Also thank you for taking the time to respond to the posts. I always look forward to your next video.

Thank you so much for this! I just found it and am worrying because I have a FP for FoP in two months and I REALLY hope I fit. I'm the same height and weight as you...but definitely differently shaped. Still, this gives me hope!

I’m going to animal kingdom for the first time in many years (since way before this attraction) and have been very nervous about this. Hoping this guide will help me ride! I love the movie and the world.

I'm not sure I'll fit, but after seeing this video, I am willing to try. My only other concern is can I ride my ECV through the que?

I have had several very traumatic experiences from not fitting on roller coasters when I was younger.
