Not a single person working for HECO/HELCO/MECO can or will do anything to negatively affect shareholder value. It's a fiduciary responsibility backed by case law. HECO is not the entity that will help Hawaii Island become energy self-sufficient. Your shareholders will never vote for your customers to become self-sufficient. The only thing HECO will do is purchase power agreements in order to control all of "our" renewable resources and resell our resources back to us. So please stop it with the "you're here to help, " intellectually dishonest mantra. You're here to make money from people regardless of their income or ability to pay. It was old the day Kalakaua passed.

First of all the state of Hawaii corporation and the USA federal government is illegally occupying the Hawaiian kingdom recognized November 28 1843 by great Britten and France .
