The Sub-Arctic (or the Near-Polar) Ural is the highest part of the Ural Mountains. This is surely one of the best places to get away from civilization and get out into the wilderness.
An incomplete list of the Subpolar Ural's most beautiful landmarks includes Mt. Narodnaya, Mt. Manaraga, Mt. Neroika, Mt. Sablya, Mt. Piramida, Naroda river, Balbanty lake, Tykotlova river and Yugyd Va National Park.
Itching to travel? Russian nature is surprisingly amazing! Make sure of that personally and test yourself joining expeditions, organized by "Dikiy Sever" expedition club.
Running expeditions since 2006, we spent 14 years exploring the most remote and inaccessible parts of the Urals.
