She might mispronounce "out" and call your hat a weird name, but Cobie comes from a grand tradition of great Canadian performers.

Watched HIMYM so many times that when Conan said "You grew up in Canada, " I instantly heard "with America RIGHT THERE."

I loved the How I Met Your Mother episode in which Barney goes nuts trying to find out who "P.S. I love you" is about and all these awesome Canadian celebrities pop up during the episode: Dave Coulier, Paul Shaffer, Allan Thicke, Geddy Lee. One of my favorite episodes!

It's amazing how many Canadian actors they're are. They are happier people.

That face when Conan says "Endless supply of ME!" in the ending clip... Stuff of nightmares.

People in urban areas in Canada really don't have accents. we just have the generic north american accent. this 'oot' instead of 'out' stuff is really only from people who live in small towns in northern ontario and the parries. I've only ever heard a few people speak like this, and i live in southern ontario.

HEY, QUESTION, am I the only Canadian who doesn't really hear any difference between the Canadian accent and the generic American accent?

born in england, lived there 9 years, then moved to canada and have lived here for 9 years. Its strange knowing about 2 different cultural identities, accents and ways of life, it gives you a new perspective on communities and how similar people can be despite what you see on the surface

I just want the world to know that as long as I have a face, Cobie will have a place to sit.

I agree. All countries that have cold weather have a different word for "the hat you wear when it's cold". In finland we have hats, which are "hattu" or "lakki", but in cold weather we use "pipo".
