Many thanks, answered my confusion on buying a radiomaster pocket with ELRS module+ER6 PWM receiver. Pretty cool can configure outputs on the receiver!

It's nice to have for all the old stuff.

I haven't had much luck though, tried converting an old Vortex 285 to ELRS for a friend. A Sbus to CPPM adapter are needed for those. So flashed 3.3 to the receiver tried and got a Sbus signal on my battery checker, but when connecting to the CPPM adapter nothing happened.

Ended up having to use CRSF and have a Matek CRSF to Sbus converter in-between the receiver and CPPM adapter for it to work.

Got it up in the air with ELRS in the end, but had hoped to not need the Matek board in-between.

Never figured out why this wouldn't work, but he's happy in the end and the end result is still smaller than he's old Duplex receiver.

Awesome 👌 content. It's a learning channel.

I replaced the rx with the er8gv which works perfectly on its own. taking the 4-wire plug directly from the rx and inserting them into the sparrow2 using the crsf or sbus protocol does not make the connection (express 3.3.1)grazie

I have been doing all of this since3.1 came out at least 2 months ago?

I have a Radiomaster ER6G that I was hoping to use in a glider to replace a FRSky system. My setup is three PWM channels in the Fus and S-Bus to the wing where I breakout to four PWM servos. Whilst I can replicate this setup with the ER6G I find that the Fail Safe does not operate on the S-Bus channels to the wing – an important safety feature for a glider. Is that a “feature” or am I missing something in the setup.

OK!
Now my ELRS rigs all have 3-wheel motion, Neons, and at least 2 Wings. Tupac discographies loaded on SD cards, sorry BlackBox. Oh, and my FPV camera is mounted on a popcorn maker, for some reason.

But on the serious, I have a bunch of Omnibus F4 equipped planes, currently with FrSky Rx's. This will invigorate the fleet, and I can stop being nervous about range and Freq Tuning FrSky Rx's using a Multi-Protocol module

Thank you for this video. I just reconfigured my radiomaster receiver per instructions and pixhawk 6c/px4 fc began to receive commands per Qground control. I was trying to customize PX4 firmware to make work, but not so easy task for a beginner. Next need to figure out how to get return telemetry to transmitter. A video on this would be super.

I found Chrome did not open the web page, Safari did. Not sure why, but definitely browser specific.

I was gifted an old TGY-I10 transmitter and now I'm lost trying to figure out what Rx to use on a quadcopter. I have a PWM to SBUS converter, so I could get an ELRS with PWM pins, but could I also just get a regular VCC, GND, TX, RX ELRS in CRSF or SBUS to work with the TGY-I10? My flight controller has a couple of SBUS pads. I watched all of your TGY-I10 videos and am so lost.

I'm pretty new to RC flight and even newer to ELRS. I've got a TX16S 4-in-1 version and a BetaFPV micro ELRS module. Watching videos I know that CRSF is the default for ELRS, but when I look at the other options to choose on the BetaFPV module, I can see SBUS, DSM, PWM and I can even see Multi as an option. I've tried looking around online, but I can't seem to find anything about these other protocols.

Good morning, I followed your explanation preciselyI have the same RX, I took the bus from pin 2 and inserted it on Sparrow 2 in the right position. The TX is the pocket and the commands come out of the RX but when I increase the motor, the servo elevator also moves What did I miss at the same time I have no signals on the rc toolkit Thanks, I hope for your help

So if it wanted to use elrs on lets say omp m1 m2 I could do that

Complete newbie here, if you can use pins for serial does that mean you could instal a 3rd party GPS that way. As still no GPS for it as far as I can see on the RadioMaster site?

Hi Lee, thank you for this video - Great news. I have a speedybee FC. I am going to use a ELRS now with SBUS. I have the normal controls for the AtomRC Swordfish (4 channels just for the surfaces), but i use switches for alt hold, arm, RTH and auto trim, do I need a channel for all of these functions? So I was thinking of getting a 8ch ELRS, but if a 6 will do then great.
