i just want to hear
him play his guitar
because that's what
he's very good at...
as these so-called
prodigy guitar
kids get older so
often they try to be
something they're
not...and the magic
gradually deserts
them...they suffer
a musical identity
crisis and sadly sink
into obscurity...
getting too artsy-
fartsy and over-
lyrical is not playing
to his strengths...
zappa had it right
when he titled one
of his albums 'shut up
'n play yer guitar'...
and then followed
it up with 'shut
up 'n play yer
guitar some more'!!
