It was a rocker that’s for sure! Unlike pretty much every other big earthquake we’ve had up here, we had little to nothing out of place or broken. Thank the powers that be no tsunami this time.

You could maybe measure or compute stress on a fault, so at least get the probability of a big quake. Not sure how you'd measure that though, maybe by slippage rate or lack thereof. But so far predicting quakes isn't working, and she's right, we need building codes.
