My large Manfrotto tripod is just too heavy and bulky for weddings and I needed something different. So I tried out the Neewer LT32 to see how it stacked up.

Hi Josh. Thanks for your great video! As a landscape, wildlife and product photographer obsessed with image sharpness and detail, I have done a Lot of research into stability systems. The Peak Design tripod, while I'm sure is well made, simply doesn't work for any landscape shooter simply because, unless I'm mistaken, one cannot achieve a level pan with it as configured out of the box! That's a deal breaker for me. For my in studio work, I use a very stout, robust Leofoto LS-365C tripod. For location work I use a 3 Legged Thing Leo V2 and an iFootage Cobra 2 Monopod (which has a removable mini-tripod built in). I also have a few pano heads/nodal rails for these support systems, as I do panoramas as well. Good luck with that Neewer!

'd prefer the ProMediaGear TR344L carbon fiber tripod. With a height of 71 inches, it's more than tall enough—even for someone like me at 5'6", there's plenty of extra height to work with. Plus, it features a removable apex, giving you the flexibility to attach either a center column or a leveling bowl.

I will have to say the video has been done really well, a great job of filming and presentation. Wedding videographer here as well. But as to this tripod, the first fail is it is not 16” inches. This is the size for carry on luggage so No go for me. Second the peak design plate is a big fail if you use a gimbal. If I have to change the plate, this is way too slow for weddings, I wouldn’t even consider this tripod and send it back immediately. Third, the pan function sucks!, fourth there are cheaper and better tripods for less money. I just bought a K and F concept, it is carbon Fibre, ARCAs swiss, 16” inches and is a lot cheaper.

The biggest problem with all these travel tripods is wind does affect them more than a heavy tripod, and if you use a weight, they can bounce on wooden floors and in the wind. Warp stabilisation doesn’t fix it. I have a Promaster something, super strong and heavy. I use this for my 70-200mm that suffers from bounce the most. There is no better tripods, all have advantages and disadvantages.
Same with light stands, the Promaster LC-CT, I have fold down to 16” inches, I have 4. But they are a little longer to setup and don’t go as high, so I have two extensions. But hell they do save space and awkward bags. Thanks for the vid, good job!

Not all square plates are compatible? That design seems as if they are made for square arca swiss style plates.
