My mom bought a slinky today, actually for my nephew. She is suffering from Depression, doesnt speak english but she found your Videos on Youtube and now shes been practising since two hours.

Practicing the fold alone between left and right hand was a bit of a game changer! It helped me so much to get a fell for the tug!

This took me 1 hour to learn the basic bounce and the basic energy beam isn't hard so it took me 2 minute thanks for teaching me

I'm actually starting to really get the bounce after just these practice sessions. The slow mo really helps for double checking hand positioning and doing that U shape swiftly is really the kicker for getting the end of the slinky to turn downward. The one problem I have is sometimes my fingers on my grip hand get stuck in the coils and it adds in another tension wave that messes up the movement

I started doing these lessons with a jumbo slinky i had and i gotta say catching the slinky after the bounce is pretty hard with it but im still getting the idea preetty easily😊

How do we catch it? I keep missing the slinky, I kept the hand there but when I pull the slinky in a upside U shape, it misses my hand. Does it take practice to catch it?

Yeah, I think if I'm stranded in the wilderness, my first thought would be "Welp, might as well slink."
