How does everyone feel about these longer form videos?

I once worked for a company that set up business spaces. So liminal spaces don't feel awkward to me. It's just a finished business before all the equipment/furniture is moved in, which can sometimes be days or weeks. I've been alone in them many times, sometimes long past close because for some tasks, I had the option of doing them whenever I wanted to in a 24-hour window..

I like your description linking the liminal spaces to our memories from similar aesthetics from the 90s. I think these spaces bring us back to being kids, when we didn't understand the world and couldn't easily identify what was safe or what was dangerous. It's a sweet spot of familiar, yet unfamiliar and unnerving. Sent from The Backrooms.

Folks who need social media, sleep with the TV on, always humming, etc are most affected by liminal spaces. If you're more quiet and solitary it's peaceful, I really enjoy the ghost malls' closeness to everything but apart from bustle. Like a wilderness park adjacent to downtown
