Famous as being one of the fashion capitals of the world AND with the backdrop of Italy's largest cathedral, this video is a special one indeed.

Like the previous Christmas market videos, I'll be rating Milan on the following; stall variety, food and drink, entertainment, value for money and festive cheer level. At the end of all that I'll also be sharing some top visiting tips.

Thank you as always to everybody who supports the channel by liking, sharing, commenting and subscribing - it really is appreciated xx

If you've enjoyed this video please consider buying me a coffee ☕all the trips for the channel are self-funded and therefore any support is truly appreciated - thank you

Merry Christmas everybody 🎅

Interesting to see and compare to the British xmas market scene. Don't think it inspired me to want to visit but the architecture did look outstanding. Thankyou for showing.

So strange for me (italian) to discover someone has rated those markets :) I mean: we do not consider them something "famous" or that someone could ever rate, it's just a small add-on to the city, a plus.. This video has been uploaded on 15th december and, for example, on 8th december there was the "o bej o bej" which is a bigger market around castellos forzesco (since 5th to 8th dec), or even the "fiera dell'artigianato" (that's really HUGE, 1 million visitors this year, but it's less about Christmas, and it's indoor, since 30th to 8th dec) in "Rho fiera" - About entertainment : Milan is a small city, where you can reach everything in 5/15 minutes with underground and they prefer to provide different things in different city areas, activities included, but you've to know where they're placed (and it's not always so easy probably to get infos). I think simply because there are SOO MANY events, that they almost do not even advertise them. For example you found that ice-skating ring, but there were at least 10 in that moment, and lasting about 2 months, as the one called "Senstation Winter", in central station (also free, costless) well enlighted and with several people enjoyining. That one near Navigli was so bit sad ahhaha - maybe it was not its "hours" or it was not still opened to public (?) anyway keep in mind that Navigli is more a daily place for spring/summer days, with sun, or in the rest of the year, is surely an evening place, with movida. Probably in cold winter, a bit foggy, in that hour of the day you've seen in it's worst mood ever - it can be an extremely lively place (even too much).

BTW yes, roasted chestnuts are really expensive in italy! especially those ones (they're sold in a super-touristc area) but not only: pricey also in small village with no tourism

Looks all a bit depressing for a jolly Christmas atmosphere, considering you were smack in the centre of the city I would give a 2 star overall. Thanks for the vlog!

Are you going to rate it the same as UK markets?
