My in-car video of the start and the first couple of laps at Hallett on 8/28/11.

Normal (CCW) direction, showing some close and too-close racing.

I put my nose where it couldn't be seen and wasn't able to slow down quickly enough once I saw the door being shut. Sustained some minor fender damage (though you can hear the tire rubbing on left turns) and my panel beating buddy (thanks LowFlyin) was able to mostly return the fender to its normal position.

I do think he was at fault on yours (thrown off the kerb at 8 perhaps?) - but I think mine was a 50-50. I would have liked a wee bit more room at the turn in, but I could also have not stuck my nose in his blind spot! Just racing, I reckon. :-) See you out there in September.

I think Mr. #62 didn't invest any time and money in his car. Clearly by the way he was driving it that day.
