How to Norwegian Purl | Hands Occupied

Показать описание
Learn how to work a Norwegian purl stitch. This particular method of purling is for continental (picking) style knitters. The advantage of this style of purling is that you keep your working yarn tensioned at the back at all times. Therefore, Norwegian purling is particularly useful for switching between knits and purls in stitches like ribbing or seed stitch, as well as improving one's tension.

SUPPLIES USED
US 6 (4 mm) circular aluminum knitting needles
(Please note: I happened to use circular needles in this video, but as I'm knitting flat, I could have used straight needles as well.)
Yarn: Kelbourne Woolens' Germantown in Scarlet.

This is how I learned. But now I can’t figure out how to make a purl increase, purling 2 into the same stitch. Do you have a video for that?
