I swear this kind of music is so underrated. I cannot get enough of the satirical dark themes in the almost upbeat instrumental style. As someone who has been through addiction and many other dark places, seeing/hearing songs like this take the seriousness out of it. It genuinely helped me learn to laugh at my past instead of being ashamed of it.

Dont you just love em! One of the most original, innovative bands out there . This isnt just music this is art. Martyn is a genius, the lyrics are superb and they are all very musically talented . An accquired taste, not for everyone i m sure but highly addictive once the taste is acquired

Discovered The Tiger Lillies at 15 years old ('Terrible' being the first song I heard from them), and instantly fell in love, diving into their excellent discography. 8 years later at 23, they've continued to be one of my favourite bands and a strong influence on me. Much love.
