Making USAF A-10C Blacksnake (1/48 Academy )

Excellent job with incredible detail! One minor critique is that the A-10’s external fuel tanks are not self-sealing and would never be carried into combat. They are only used when ferrying the jet from one location to another, so to have one loaded on a jet that is also armed with a combat load out would be quite unusual. (15 years experience flying active duty Hogs)

Awesome work! I see the 122nd every time I fly in to visit my parents in Fort Wayne. They often fly right over our house doing maneuvers. Just too bad they’re going back to F-16s. The engines roar just isn’t going to be the same… But I too am doing this same kit but with Indiana ANG 100th Anniversary colors and resin pilot figure.

Your skills certainly aren't limited to the warships! Excellent detail work, especially the subtle washes and airbrush technique for the panels. The red streamers ("Remove before flying" plugs and covers) are an excellent touch, too. These birds weren't nearly as "sexy" as the F/A 18's or other aircraft that visited Ft. Campbell when I worked a civilian contract that covered the flightline but they were certainly deadly. Always used to enjoy seeing them visiting, be it for fuel or when doing exercises out on our ranges.

Stunning work on a hard to work with colour of Grey....It looks fantastic! The lens on the Maverick/Hellfire is very well done. Minute detail is done on every area, excellent.

It is a great kit in 1:48, a good size to work with . I have built one but not quality like this one !! good job .. I also built a 1:72 drone version
