I remember that this game was at my sleep away camp's canteen. No one could figure out how to play it because the older kids hogged the game and skipped the tutorial. XD
We also had constant arguments about the gender of NiGHTS. I thought they were a girl, but everyone else was like- "No, they dress NiGHTS as a boy, so he's a boy!"
The funniest part is that one kid actually knew NiGHTS was genderless, but none of us listened to him.

My first experience with this game were the first cutscenes of the kid's nightmares. They scared me as a kid, and I never played this game again. Now, after years of searching, I _finally_ know what this game is called... all thanks to Sonic Adventure.

Am I the only one who just enjoys NiGHTS and Reala's interaction? I'm just so wooed at all the fights and the weird way Reala manhandles NiGHTS. I can't explain it well without sounding a bit off but their interactions just satisfies me extremely.

When wizeman says that nightmares would still exist, I’m getting Kirby anime vibes. In the last episode, the villain, Nightmare, says a similar thing in the Japanese translation
