Beach Casting Lesson 2020 , Pevensey Bay with Glyn Morgan, Anglers Den Sussex

Glyn Morgan of Anglers Den Sussex, Pevensey Bay gives a beach casting lesson to Ollie Franks and explains how a good cast from the beach is about 70% technique and timing and just 30% power. Small adjustments to technique and timing can greatly improve your distance casting, getting your hook and bait a long way from the shore which can bring better results.

Great toturial about surfcasting ( Continental beach casting) Now, you should do another tutorial about the OH (over head) cast and the famous OTG (off the ground) cast. I'm 54 and have doing surfcasting fishing all my life, and this is a good tutorial for beginners. I will love people to get more into surfcasting, this sport is a passion soon you start to get on it, I'm just love it.

I've just been getting a blackrock foosa and that shows me exactly what its like at casting.

Twisting the body ( making coil strength) which added to the whole casting power is a must for powerfull casts .it’s almost active n nonactive body movement, nice daminstration btw, tight lines.

This a late comment. A great breakdown of the casting process. Does Glynn have a martial arts background? His transfer of power from the stance, through the hips to the shoulders and arms is classic karate training. The best explanation of a cast anywhere on the internet. Thanks for the great video.
