M4 Mac Mini or NUC

Friends, it turns out you can upgrade the SSD. Not sure if you’d have to get one from Apple or if it will void the warranty, but that’s awesome news!

Apple. When it comes to pc, they figured it out. I still use my M1 and works like brand new. I never experienced that with any Windows machines.

For my needs, Windows. I will lose out on the Industry leading CPU, but I'm able to adjust my SSD & RAM and run my software that is only X86 compatible.

I got the one from 2014 and that's when Windows and it plays Grand theft Auto on low settings only thing upgradable is really the SSD which is used to be a hard drive

When it comes to which mini pc is better I’d definitely go for the Mac mini. It’s depending on a usage tho. If you like to use the Mac regularly for basic usage just go for original 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. When it comes to editing, graphics, and creating music go for M4 Pro or Max and at least 32GB of RAM and the Mac mini will manage to work way more efficiently than the NUC. Plus you can’t find a good NUC PC since they work with Intel and we all know Intel’s newer CPUs overheat and it’s hard to cool them off.

I think it can all be answered if you ask yourself if you want to play any games, and if you do ai workstation level stuff. If the answer to both is no then the base model apple products are absolutely perfect. If the answer is yes to either then windows immediately takes the lead because of cost efficiency

The Mac OS is by far most modern and reliable than Windows. The hardware is state of the art. Most PCs are just a collection of parts from different manufacturers. In a PC it requires far more updates from all those manufacturers to make the system to run smoothly. The Mac software and hardware are from on source, making the system far more efficient and reliable

The question is not Windows or Mac, it's whether you want to have a jet engine on your desk screaming every second that you use it, or an almost silent computer
