Podi masala

A masala from South Indian cuisine which is generally served alongside dosa or idlis.. It gives an instant kick to your meal.

Ingredients
1/4 cup Sesame seeds
1 tsp oil
1/4 cup Chana dal
1/4 cup Urad dal
7-8 Dry red chillies
Few Curry leaves
1/2 tsp Hing
Salt as per taste
1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder

Roast all the ingredients as shown, let it cool down.
Grind to make a powder.
Add salt, aesofetida, kashmiri red chilli powder.
Enjoy with curd rice, add it to sesame oil/melted ghee.. Good to go with dosa/idlis or snacks!!

Shelf life: Can be stored for a month at room temperature.
