Wheelchairs 4 Kids improves the lives of children with physical disabilities

Their motto is “improving the lives of children with physical disabilities,” and that is just what a local nonprofit, Wheelchairs 4 Kids did. On Friday, 4-year-old Josie received a gait trainer.
She was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, is nonverbal and needs assistance to walk. Nina Shaw, Program Coordinator for Wheelchairs 4 Kids says the gait trainer “will get her into the pattern of walking and be able to walk on her own in a supportive manner."
