As a noob both as a consumer and a reviewer, you can take this with a grain of salt… it’s not just the iem companies at fault here, but it also us. From a consumer standpoint, it’s the same reason we are pre ordering the iPhone 15 Titanium, when we have a perfectly good 14 Pro Max ( or 13!!!). From a reviewer standpoint, it’s always a race to be the first to upload a video on the “new hotness”. Which triggers the consumer, which reinforces the Chi Fi company to do it again. I imagine if you release 5 or 10new IEMs and just one of them “hits” you’ve funded the next 5 or 10 and cleared a profit on top golf it.
We all just need to slow the F down. Just my two cents. Love your reviews btw! And you’re definitely helping me figure this out! Peace, Chris

I think the important thing is not to buy more than you need.
Manufacturers can't release that many products if they don't sell well.
I am not an audiophile, just a Timmy fanboy, so I am happy with the IEMs I have and will only buy Timmy's collaborative IEMs when they are released.

People vote with their wallets.

If they release 100 iems it's more probable for them to sell 10 than if they release just 10.
As much as it works for them they won't stop.

if people continue to buy every new release they won't even consider stopping, I think it's pretty straight forward.

As long as the release hype moves product they will and arguably should keep doing it. It is up to the community to work harder to rank the offerings and compare with older options.

Yo. Just got the Dunu S&S Tips based on your shoutout. They work for me and I have run through a lot of different tips.

Consider doing (another) video on tips. There are a ton of interesting aftermarket options out there now. Since tips are very subjective, you could also do a video where you ask other interviewers for their favorite tips.
