Awesome song! The days of Dawson's Creek. That show allowed us to escape from all harshness in the world and visit a place called Capeside every week.

A real woman. She said "if loving you makes a slave of me then I'll spend my whole life in chains." Powerful and passionate. She had great lyrics throughout this entire song.

That is so deep. How did Sophie come up with that line? Wow. It is not hard to get emotional about this great song.

Thank you, Sophie B Hawkins.

Beautiful song. It used to mean a lot to me and a girl. We were young and dumb and hurt each other. We couldn't stay together,  but I still smile when I hear this. We both ended up happy.

What a beautiful song. It reminds me my teen period of life in 2000/1. Thanks for sharing it, dear Sophie. Hugs from Brazil.

The chorus is lush and beautiful with good chords- similar to her song Right Beside You and Only Love-- she is great at choruses!

After she had a fight with her record company, she was basically black-balled from the industry. It's a damn shame because she's brilliant and her music is incredible. I would love to see her come out with another album like "Whaler".
