This is a project that stems out of love, respect and admiration of Bradford Cox and his music, which has been in my life for many years now.
During a span of almost 10 years I followed the now defunct Deerhunter blog, where Bradford would now and then upload demos and home recordings of songs he worked on, and that were never officially released. Many of these tracks are among my favorites of his whole catalog, and upon recent listens I figured it would be sensible to upload all of these for other fans to enjoy too.
Because I'm an audio mixing/mastering engineer but mainly a deep music lover and a big audio nerd, I couldn't help but notice that most of these home recordings could greatly benefit from a remaster in order to balance them out, catch some harsh frequencies, add clarity or warmth were it corresponded, etc (of course always staying true to the original tonal color).
I started with this EP which is one of my favorites, and also one with the best audio quality to begin with, which actually allowed me to enhance it even further, and I'm very happy with the result.
I will slowly remaster all of the tracks that I have of him and upload them here.
