I dont understand why your so concerned about cups and plates and knives coz of covid but ur sitting on the couch, touching everything else everyone touches. If cuttlery is washed whats the problem?

We’re also the same as you in terms of hotel utensils and kitchenware.
I also wipe all surfaces down with disinfectant spray!

My family when we go away chuck all plates utensils ect on the hottest wash the dishwasher will go. We wipe out the cupboards and drawers before returning them in spots. We find it gives us peace of mind and we use throughout stay.
