DIY:Welding with CO2 machine and Arc welding

When welding with CO2 machine you need to start from the lower part of the section you want to weld, and using small circular motions, move your way to the top end. This welding is cleaner and easier to grind. Current and Wire speed settings are shown in the image. Settings need to be changed according to the thickness of the material used.

While welding with Arc welding I am using rutile electrode 2.5 mm and first you need to touch the surface few times in order to establish contact and then just move the electrode from the top to the bottom leaving an thick weld. Once you complete the process you will have to use chipping hammer to remove the sludge from the weld.
