I find Dewey and Gale’s separation very heartbreaking not because it happened in the movie, but also in real life. The emotion felt is so much more genuine.

This was the movie where Gale really turned around for the best. Her reaction to realizing that Dewey is really dead is gut wrenching. She really loved him and cared about him more than anything, even her career. That’s what made this heartbreaking to watch.

Phenomenal acting by Courtney Cox. 0:51 The shot where she grieves alone in the hospital reception is really sad, her most loved person is gone, she really had no one, all by herself. Even though Sam and Sidney comforted her afterwards, she lost Dewey forever.

Gale has changed a lot. She’s not the same person as she used to be. It seems that she’s realized what’s really important in life: the ones you love the most.

Dewey died a hero and a legend. Dead or alive, Dewey deserves nothing less. Between Gale and Sidney, Gale saw Dewey last, Sidney never got the chance to see Dewey again, Sidney and Dewey only spoke to each other via phone call. Unfortunately, that was the last phone call that Sidney and Dewey will ever have. Also, it took Dewey’s death for Sidney to come back to town, despite Dewey’s warning and Sidney’s objection to return to Woodsboro. Now, Sidney and Gale will have to work together once again to not only stop these new killings but to avenge their fallen ally. 😔

Seeing Gale & Sidney bond like that was my favourite moment of the whole movie their character development is amazing I’m glad they’re the last 2 ladies standing and to think they hated one another from the first to now we’re they have a great bond is amazing to witness as a fan of the franchise.

Sidney, Gale, and Dewey were a family. The hell they survived together. Even Sidney's rivalry with Gale faded away and they all 3 became a team. This was really sad. Especially after loving these characters for more than 20 years.
