Peavey Butcher: Tube Configuration Standby Switch Hum Balance

After performing a rough adjustment of the hum pot, you need to measure the voltage across R49 and be sure the voltage drop is not more than 15 volts. Otherwise, it will overheat and burn the power supply (blow a filter or reservoir cap). The fuse (F1) will not protect the power supply or the amp if the hum balance adjustment is not correctly set.
