Man, I love this stuff! An instrument I've never heard of and something about the Beatles I've never heard!

ofc john rolled an orange over they keys 😂😂😂 that sounds like the most random and out of left field technique out there but it makes perfect sense that John lennon came up with it… that’s totally 100% a john thing

That answers a question that has bothered me for decades. But the orange rolling over the keys just kills me!

I was convinced it was a Stylophone but I changed my mind when I watched Let It Be on Disney and someone brought it for the first time in the studio and John was messing with as it was the first time he saw one

It's funny you just issued this short about "Baby You're A Rich Man"; I was just watching a video about the making of it. The orange thing was mentioned. Also, a lot of swooning over Paul's bass on it. I couldn't quite make it out, so I looked up an isolated bass video of it. You ought to listen to it, GT! A thing of beauty. Rich, wet, chocolate Rickenbacker bass lines. And to think, Paul only reluctantly slipped into the bass player's duties after Stu Sutcliffe left. Years later, Paul said in an interview, "That was always some fat guy's job", lol.
Speaking of tasty, odd Lennon instrumental touches, I read that that dreamy, sleepy flute-like keyboard noodling at the end of the instrumental track "Flying" on Magical Mystery Tour is played by Yoko's future old man himself!

A new way to create ornamentation! Woo-hoo! I’m a conservatory educated flutist — lol!🎉🎉

The first riff you hear on it at the beginning of the song sounds so planned out. Crazy random orange notes.

It's a kazookleflugen horn. Google it.
