🇬🇷 Rafina, the church of Ai-Nicolas ⛪️

In October 1947, three people from Rafini, Othonas Mentis, Chrysos Kavounidis and Nikolaos Ioannidis, with architect Kyprianos Biri, built the church of Ai-Nicolas, on the rock above the port of Raflia. Its charm, picturesqueness and beauty, with the amazing view of the endless blue sea, refers and transports the pilgrim to a Cycladic landscape. It is a reference and meeting point for locals, vacationers and tourists of the area. Agios Nikolaos, as the patron saint of sailors, always prays for good voyages of seafarers.
