I have been excited about the Gothic Crown release but also the sovereign, really i can only afford one of them, but which? a nice dilemma, hopefully i will be lucky enough to shortly own one of them, i am leaning towards the sovereign tho.

The Royal Mint have said they will be releasing two coins for the gothic crown due to the fact that the current Queen needs to be on the coin. Which one do you think will demand the highest preimum if any at all? Do you think there will be a two coin set also?

These are gorgeous designs, but I don't understand the attraction to such large specimens as this 1kg example. In my mind anything over about 2 ounces isn't really a "coin" anymore but something else entirely.
