The other great thing about them is for every pair purchased, AFRIpads gives 7 reusable cloth pads to girls in Africa to help them stay in school. :) Good for the environment and to help others succeed!

This was a perfect review! It's hard to present alternate period products in a convincing way. I've been a very satisfied Diva cup user for over 4 years (and am amazed at how uncomfortable tampons are on the rare occasion I have to use them.) Now I'm going to get some Thinx, too! Especially for sleeping. With the Diva cup, I have the option to go commando if I want. But on lighter days, it's really overkill.

And this is the first I've ever heard or saw these. I'm glad I came to your page. I currently have been using the cup for 3ish months and I really like it. It catches all no need for a panty liner unless it runs over but I can wear mine all night and it doesn't spill out. And I have a pretty heavy flow. But I'm very interested in these.

i prefer tampons but my period is so light that i'll put one in and take it out hours later and it will still be dry and it hurts so bad lol

oh the more you get at one time the more you save in the long run so if you buy 4 of them you get 10% off if you get 2 more you get 15% off and so on

First of all thanks for the video. I'm considering to buy them but here are some questions:
- How often do you change it? I mean I work from 8am-5pm and if i need to change this every so often I'd rather use tampon than changing my whole underwear at work.
- So you don't have to change this at night?
- is it true to the size?

holy cow you're periods are 7-10 days and see super heavy? Have you been checked for fibroids?

I don't know.  Although I think it would definitely be nice not to have to wear a pad all the time, I'm just not sure. I, like you, have very heavy periods.  Mine, like yours, started after the birth of my twins (4 and 5th children).  But I had 4 kids very close together (within 27 months) and thought it was from that. I had an IUD put in for birth control and to slow them down.  It worked for several years, but they have started up again in the last 2 years.  I don't go a ton of days, but it's very very heavy.  I think I'd have to have at least 5 pairs.  With always doing laundry for 5 kids, I am not sure I'd find the time to wash them separately every single night...and what do you wear while you are washing them?  Just not sure!

Thanks so much for doing this video. It was really informative. Based on all the research I've done, these undies seem to work really well. Have you tried the hip huggers without a tampon on your heaviest days? Did they provide protection without leaks?
