Pronated wrists and featherless fingers... on Archaeopteryx. *winces*

Hm...Some pros and cons here:

Pros:
The fact that Archaeopteryx got attention at all (poor thing hasn't been showing up in documentaries recently)
Sickle claws on the feet
Feather "trousers" (something too many people forget)
Some legitimately interesting speculation (namely, Archaeopteryx landing on a carcass to eat flies)

Cons:
Poorly done feathers
Flying like "Tetrapteryx"
The gliding in general, which doesn't fit with modern understanding of how Archaeopteryx flew (it flew like a pheasant)
Nesting behavior (nesting in trees, or even spending a lot of time in trees, doesn't seem likely for Archaeopteryx)

So, I just watched monsters resurrected (another prehistory documentary), and let me say, it very briefly made me reconsider jurassic fight club being the worst dinomentary I have ever seen. *But then I remembered that its Jurassic fight club.*

This creature is supposed to be microraptor, not archaeopteryx. It has flight feathers on the legs and the sickle shaped claw on a raised, second toe. Archaeopteryx didn't have this, but it's iconic for microraptor.

This is super inaccurate, but I love the cgi. In some shots, the cgi looks realistic, like 1:00

I doubt that the ugrvogel would only be attracted to the flies on the carcass

Archaeopteryx was the first bird unlike Microraptor and others like it which are reptiles.
