How To Use Z1 Analyzer To Look At Your Telemetry And Improve Your Driving - The Basics

Z1 Analyzer is a powerful tool which allows sim racers to access detailed information about their driving through their telemetry readouts. Throttle traces, brake inputs, suspension travel, driving lines and so much more. I’ve used it in some of my recent videos to show how you could improve your driving by analysing what’s going on and also to showcase the difference between a Logitech and a Fanatec pedal set. But how do you actually even use it in the first place?

Quite a few of you have left comments and asked questions about Z1 Analyzer so I thought it would be much more handy to put together a quick ‘basics’ guide and show you how the software works. It won’t be a comprehensive guide but it should at least get you up and running so you can look at all that lovely data without a hassle.

great video use raceroom most of the time only got it a few weeks ago had pc2 and ac but just couldnt find ffb sweet spot but raceroom kinda felt what was going on out the box . saw your vid the other week an this one was thinking about z1 think may be a must to get up to speed with less guess work if i can sort it lol as couldn t even turn a pc on 9 months ago

congratulations for the video, really well done. But there is only one thing that does not convince me .. I'll explain ... if I have to synchronize the video with the telemetry, what margin of error is there? that is, I can put 2 tenths ahead or more behind the video, and surely the telemetry will be distorted. or am I wrong?

Thanks mate, been using Z1 for about a month now but just picked up a couple of good tips from your Vid 👍
As a noob I also found it useful to review your Z1 track data from the other week on Tuesday Thunder (Bilster Berg) while learning the track. Is adding your HotLap Z1 data something you may do regularly? As I personally found it very informative. 🤞 Thanks again for your continued efforts mate 👍
