I think 11 is maxed out, after that the size and weight would make it kind of arduous to play with.

Also a puzzle of this size demands a carry-on style bag. and maybe wrap in a shirt

Maybe an idea to get the 11x11 Shengshou by now just for aesthetic reasons.

I own a 10x10 cube also. My best time is 63 minutes. It cost me $122 USD and I got a 20% discount from Champion's Cube Store. Package also included 2 extra sets of stickers worth $14 USD. I now own a "complete set" of cubes from 1x1x1 to 11x11x11. My next aim is one day to do it with all V-Cubes from 6x6x to 11x11 one day.

I would go to 13x13 maybe more if the price is reasonable.  I carry my big cubes in a backpack wrapped with a towel.

My largest puzzle is currently a 5x5, but I plan to get a 7x7 soon.

I think to have a "complete set" one needs to have some physical 1x1x1  cubes. You can make one yourself or buy them from Ebay.

It's nice to see that it is finally coming. Also, you said wimpy tape and it reminded me of those hefty trash bag commercials.

Also real time solve would be pretty darn cool.

At some point the bigger cubes will just be too big too properly hold, lol. Image trying to turn a cube the size of a basketball.

Unless, of course, they made the pieces smaller. For example, my 6x6x6 shengshou is actually smaller than my old 5x5x5.

i recently solved my 9x9x9 once again and realized that this is (for me and for now) big enough of a cube. it takes a long time to solve it and even though my hands are fairly big i think its a giant.
if i ever carry it i put it in a cap

Been looking for a size comparison between the SS-10 and the Yuxin-11. They look about the same size!! Crazy. I might get one. Can't wait to see the SS-11. C=

I've had a 4x4x4 since the 1980s, and I've never felt the need for anything larger. It seems to me the solutions would get redundant. I have a few other pieces of different shapes and configurations, but I'm not a collector.

Have you or would you do a video of a 7x7x7 or bigger cube solve with algorithms
, please. Thank you.

Is there a general design for making arbitrary sized cubes?

Hard to answer that, itf there was ever a mass produced 17x17, that was usable, at an affordable price...i would buy it!

I am thinking 7x7x7 will be my biggest, I might buy bigger like 8x8x8, but then to mod into cuboids.

The biggest I'd go is 7x7. I'd want to solve the puzzles I collect without taking forever. It takes me 10-15 minutes for a 5x5 and a megaminx. At that rate 6x6 and 7x7 would take me probably 25 minutes tops haha.
