This wheel is a great step forward for long range high performance wheels.
Please ask Leaperkim to make a smaller wheel, smaller than the Patton so we can enjoy the amazing quality in a smaller form factor.

Working without a hall sensor isn't a "feature" its safety and should be standard on all wheels. Hall sensor failures are rare but still a good piece of mind.

Good start. Nice Wheel. Thank you.
... I may be alone in this ... but ... I would like to see a 100-Volt version of this wheel. 4000-Watt-Hours divided by 100-Volts yields 40-Amp-Hours of Battery. Amp-Hours is where the range is at.
... I ride a Sherman-S. 100-Volts is enough for 95+% of riding situations. Most of us that ride are "not" racers, you-tubers, or big-time jumpers. Most of us just ride for the joy of riding. 100-Volts will get that done nicely and I would be glad for the extra 11% range increase over my Sherman-S as I routinely ride 55-to-60-miles at a time.

We need a Sherman-M (M for Mini or Micro) for a competitor to the Falcon! And while I'm at it, Inmotion could you do a small one as well ;)

Looks badass! wish I was in the market for a longrange wheel at that price point. Love your channel

I love the idea of the Sherman L. Mexico roads are crazy rough. Sadly they cost more than it does to build my home. Hopefully, prices come down.

02:55 - What is the 40% "more torque" compared to? The Lynx? Sherman S?

Great video! 🙂

Looks like the wheel I've been waiting for. My longest trip I'd like to do is about 80 miles round trip and I think this would be able to let me do it, even as a heavier rider.

I love my SS now with over 7500 miles on it, however i always knew i needed more torque for steep uphill riding, but i need to see what kind of range this new wheel offers before i give up my 85 miles of range on my SS. GREAT REVIEW

Looks to be a great wheel. Sad to see that it does not feature adjustable pedal height but at least it looks like the pedals are the same as the Lynx which would mean you can use the same aftermarket pedals for both as well as the lowering bracket. I'd rather have a tubed tire because tubeless requires higher tire pressure and high PSI requires more skill to manage wobbles.

Thanks for saying rim diameter 14 inch, many countries measure tyres that way.

Kickstand is much higher than the Lynx

Would this kickstand be able to mount on the Lynx?

Thank you, Jack. It would be nice not to need a decoder ring for changing the settings using the screen. An IOS app that had some functionality might help. I wouldn't buy this wheel because I don't need the extra range and the weight penalty that goes along with it. But the Lynx would be nice - even with the awful on-screen settings.

I wonder if the acceleration assist feature will also be added to the Lynx, Assuming it would only need a firmware update to add it to the Lynx.

I would be interested to hear your thoughts, comparing the Sherman L to the Lynx. Isn't this basically a long-range Lynx?
I've been planning on purchasing a Lynx soon, but now I'm wondering if I'd be happier with the L. 🤷‍♂️
How do you think the additional 14 lbs with effect its trail riding?
I'm coming from a V12, so either wheel will be a huge step up in power, range and suspension.
But how do you think the L will do off-road?

Im very interested in this wheel.
Ill probably wait for the second production run to make my purchase. I think i would prefer the street tire that came on my Sherman Max, or perhaps a shinko 244.

I agree on what many are saying have Leaperkim build smaller wheel, but for me I like range, unfortuntely the issue is the price especially with no accessories. But this might be my one exception we will see.
